Community Engagement & Action

Building resilient communities begins with participation and collective action. Community engagement initiatives of ATVK bring together victims and survivors, families, community leaders, civil society organisations, educators and other stakeholders to foster understanding, solidarity and social responsibility.

Through community dialogues, outreach programmes, awareness activities and local initiatives, ATVK strives to create spaces where affected families can share their experiences, identify their needs and participate in solutions that directly impact their lives.

ATVK campaigns encourage communities to stand together against violence and terrorism while promoting peace, social harmony, compassion and resilience. By strengthening community participation, we seek to ensure that victims and their families are not isolated or forgotten, but remain an integral part of the wider social fabric.

Awareness & Advocacy

ATVK strongly believes that awareness is essential to building a society that understands the human cost of terrorism and recognises the rights and dignity of those affected by it.

ATVK awareness and advocacy campaigns bring the voices and experiences of victims and survivors into public discourse. Through seminars, conferences, public programmes, media engagement and national and international forums, ATVK works to promote greater understanding of the long-term social, emotional and economic impact of terrorism.

Our campaigns seek not only to raise awareness, but to transform awareness into empathy, dialogue and meaningful action.

Victim Support & Rehabilitation Campaigns

The impact of terrorism does not end when an incident is over. Families continue to face emotional, social and economic challenges for years, often across generations.

Victim support and rehabilitation campaigns focus on helping affected individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity, security and hope.

ATVK works to identify their needs and connect them with appropriate support, including counselling, educational assistance, livelihood and empowerment opportunities, and other forms of humanitarian assistance.

ATVK efforts support recovery, restore confidence and strengthen the ability of affected families to become self-reliant and resilient through sustained engagement rather than short-term intervention

Policy Campaigns

Victims of terrorism deserve not only immediate assistance, but long-term recognition, protection and meaningful participation in decisions that affect their lives.

ATVK policy campaigns seek to strengthen attention to the rights, welfare and rehabilitation of victims and their families. ATVK engages with policymakers, institutions, civil society and other stakeholders to encourage policies and programmes that address the long-term consequences of terrorism.

ATVK endeavours to bring evidence and the lived experiences of victims into policy discussions through research, documentation, consultations, policy dialogue and national and international engagement,
